Gwendolyn Reece, priestess of Theophania has founded a coven to fulfill part of the mission. Theophania continues to offer public rituals, philosophy study, and oracular rituals. Contact: theophaniatemple@gmail.com
Theophania is now the air coven in the circle of Sagittarius with the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel, an eclectic Wiccan tradition. If you are interested in learning more, please email: theophaniatemple@gmail.com.
This coven offers:
- Training in Wicca, magic and the occult and mystic paths
- An initiatory path in the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel
- Rituals designed to support collective spiritual development through work for the Good of the Polis.
Scope and Flavor: Theophania coven will focus on spiritual evolution, both individual and collective, and emphasize the wisdom traditions and the soul-healing that arises from them. It, therefore, has a strong second ray coloring. The “service” mission is focused on work that seeks to support collective spiritual development through work for the Good of the Polis. Part of the work overall work of Theophania is maintaining localized connection for Apollon and Athena so that They can have a presence in the nation’s capital.
The coven will serve as a training ground for Pagans to become heroes, in the Hellenic sense, that the world needs them to be and to work for and be part of the collective. The world, at this juncture, needs philosopher/healer heroes and visionaries who can work at the level of collective consciousness as well as individual consciousness.
The air coven in Sagittarius is appropriate because Chiron, as an apprentice of Apollon, is one of the Divine Allies, and the emphasized traits are a mix of Fire and Air, but in a mutable mode that emphasizes transformation. There is a strong emphasis on Wisdom, Light, Healing, Philosophy and Service and the collective.
Structure: Theophania will provide a structure for training and continuous growth, no matter the level of experience. It will encourage all members to develop powerful personal practices. Group rituals will be magical work that have a service component in alignment with the mission, even if also celebratory. This will keep the mission focused and allow people with other primary devotional relationships to strengthen and enrich those relationships while still coming together for group work.
